Habitat for Humanity Edmonton operates with a mission to build homes, communities, and hope for vulnerable families. Established in 1991, we are dedicated to addressing the pressing issue of affordable homeownership in northern Alberta, particularly in Edmonton and its surrounding areas. By partnering with those ready for home ownership but facing financial barriers, we make homeownership accessible without down payments. Each homeowner contributes time back to the community, embodying the spirit of giving back.
Our ReStore locations, including St Albert, offer a unique shopping experience where customers can purchase donated home furnishings, appliances, and renovation materials at discounted prices. Proceeds from these sales directly support Habitat's charitable work, helping local families gain access to affordable housing. We are committed to creating sustainable solutions that not only provide shelter but also build stronger communities and a brighter future for all.
